The Moroccan Embassy in Malaysia celebrates the 19th anniversary of the enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI by holding a reception in Kuala Lumpur, Monday 30 July 2018.
This celebration is a renewed opportunity to illustrate the strong symbiosis between the Moroccan people and the throne. It demonstrates the renewal for the act of Allegiance between the Moroccan people and the Alaouite throne. Furthermore, the Throne day represents a moment of great importance in the Nation’s life to highlight the valuable gains made during the last years and aspires to more achievements to build a modern and prosperous country, under the ruling of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, the glorious symbol of the country’s unity.
H.E. Mohammed Reda Benkhladoun, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Malaysia, welcomed all the invited guests from government offices, private corporations as well as social organisations. In his opening speech he acknowledged the strong and evolving relations between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Morocco, and wished for the continued success of both countries to push forward the cooperation in order to attain prosperity and contentment for both nations. The guests enjoyed Morocco’s traditions and food which were present in the event.
Morocco’s King Mohammed VI was enthroned in 1999, following the death of his father, King Hassan II. Since His Majesty’s enthronement, Morocco experienced major changes, has implemented numerous economic and social projects, has accomplished important international achievements and has engaged in a process of profound political reforms according to an inclusive approach placing the dignity and the fulfillment of the Moroccan citizen in the heart of its concerns. Its major projects are in the fields of infrastructure, energy, transportation and human development.
